Legal & Privacy
Privacy Policy
CSV AI Analyzer is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your data is yours and should stay that way.
What we DON'T store:
- Your CSV files or any data you upload
- Your API keys outside your Lazycat device
- Analysis results or chat history
- Any personally identifiable information
How Your Data is Processed
File parsing, chart rendering, and report generation happen in your browser. AI requests are sent through your Lazycat backend so saved provider keys work across browsers.
- You upload a CSV file → it stays in your browser's memory
- When you request AI analysis → only a summary is sent through your Lazycat backend to the AI provider
- Your API key is encrypted and stored on your Lazycat device
- When you switch browsers → saved AI settings remain available after Lazycat login
Third-Party Services
When you use AI features, your data is sent through your Lazycat backend to your selected provider:
OpenAI
AI analysis is powered by OpenAI's API. Your data summaries are processed according toOpenAI's Privacy Policy.
We recommend reviewing OpenAI's data retention policies if you're processing sensitive data.
API Key Security
Your provider API key is stored on your Lazycat device with the following security measures:
- Keys are scoped to the logged-in Lazycat user
- Keys are encrypted before being written to persistent storage
- Saved keys are never returned to the browser
- AI calls are proxied by the Lazycat backend service
